This department consists of six units:
1.Human resource unit
2.Procurement unit
3.Administrative unit
4.Secretariat unit
5.Security unit
6.Transport unit.
 
The department's functions include:

  * The Administrative Department coordinates the day to day activities of the Board.
  * It deals with all operational, human resource matters and personnel administration of the board. It provides Logistic support to other departments of the Board
  * It is responsible for the procurement of basic goods and services in other to enhance the smooth operation of the Board
  * It assists the Registrar in performing administrative function within the office.
  * The department is responsible for the proper up keep of the office facilities and maintenance of office equipment and accessories.
